We'll see, and concerning the feeling to it, I'd say I rather found it intriguing, surprising and refreshing most of the time, rather than finding it fun. If it'd be just about few beaches, one bridge and road like anywhere else... meh.
Allen, did you find the fixed mortar positions and squat inside the sandbags for a nice dump?
Nice photos:) Btw you haven't see the sherman nearSainte-marie-du-mont? Have you visited some museums ?

Unfortuantely not, when I reached Carentan I run out of time and had to go back to Le Havre to catch the ferry back to England.
Woah, all hail the graffiti rock! Any story behind why that one rock is littered with graffiti? Amazing pictures by the way! The green rocks left an impression on me; didn't know moss could be that abundant. At Sword Beach, did you go to Ouistreham by any chance?
Yes I did, that was my first stop after visiting Pegasus Bridge. As for graffiti covered bunker... well, I guess some French had a beachparty and brought some spray with them?:p
Would you mind posting any photos you may have had of Ouistreham please? :naughty: If not it's okay. :)
First off, I've got to say I love your map in Fh, always reminds me of Band of Brothers. Secondly, awesome photos! Would you happen to have any more Juno Beach pics, and if so, would you please post them?
Yes I do: Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer
By the way, if enybody needs a high resolution version of any of these photos for wallpaper or to read some of these exposition parts, just post, I have them all in 2816x2112. The ones I have shown may have lost some detail in the process of auto-resizing, as I had no control over the JPEG quality settings.
