While looking for some pic's of the Shilka and BMP-1 I came across a German sight concerning an apparent tank museum over there.Found this nifty pic of a self propelled artillery piece which was labeled "schrott",I can't read German.Usually a fair hand at identifing vehicles but this one has got me stymied....the Germans had soooo many afv's it's hard to keep track of em all, anyone know what this one is!?

still looking around but so far, haven't figured it out yet.I did find out "schrott"means scrap,or so the translator I found on the web told me.One thing I have noticed is the wheels don't seem to look very German and am now wondering if it is not a Russian or Hungarian vehicle...think the gun is about 152mm.Oh well, will keep on searching.
