To all the lives lost 7 years ago, a moment of silence.

To all senseless deaths on the entire globe, no matter the cause!
7 years already? Damn, it feels only like 1 or 2..
I think it was the start of the 21st century.
Finally the New World Order and the "End of the History" only lasted a decade, from 1991 to 2001.
Islamist terrorism would not be so much a problem (no more oil = no more efficient islamist terrorism), but Russia had raised from its ashes, and started again its brutal geopolitical manners, and now we have to count with a mighty China.
I'm afraid there would be a Third World War in the next decades (more exactly a Second Pacific War)
That picture is too much for me but I still sympathize with the families of those who died in that awful disaster.
It's strange since I still remember the news reporter saying that ''nobody will forget where they exactly where on that day and hour''. I still remember.
Man, its been 7 years already. I still remember it perfectly clear, seeing the second plane hit live. Pays respects.
...you're not seriously using that picture in a positive way, are you?
I'm 18 today. 9/11 has always affected me differently to anyone else - aside from those who share my birth date. They can understand.
May those who died rest in peace, and may those who lived live in it.

A fantastic chance to explain you the new polithic about remembrance threads, because the last time, you got a remembrance thread closed with your childish whining in a clear violation of freedom of speech of our users (from my point of view, it was about one of those mass slaughters in direct relation with the guns-free-for-all-thing that you love so much, but whatever, that's not the point)
If you open a remembrance thread and people wants to discuss about the polithical background of the event you take it like a man, want it or not any remembrance is a polithical act and some people can agree or disagree about it. If this thread or any other opens a polithical discussion (that I obviously hope is done in civil manner and with logic arguments) you can be a part of it or not, but you can't start a flamefest to get the thread closed, like in the past.
If not I will not allow more rembrance threads in these boards and I'll close them on sight, no matter if is for 11-S, for the death of Mother Teresa of Calcuta or about the extinction of dodo bird.
