http://www.tefp.net/ Yippee. I've been pushing the mod along to the best of my abilities, with the force of community interaction behind my efforts. I was subtly molding a position of respect from the mod, becoming an established member of a fledgling community. And here lie the results of my ambition and hope. The mod brutally unplugged without any warning, the very integrity of modding morality shattered in one fell blow. This is the same thing that happens with nearly all mods using the source engine. I had truly expected this mod to pull away from tradition, to stand by CONVICTION AND BELIEF! But hey, it's ok. Stop that mod. Pull the plug. It's not like there's a community to miss it. Welcome to the wonderful world of Half Life 2 modding, BF1942 modders.
Why do you had to post it, I mean anyone could go to Half-life 2 forums and read about it if they want to. Remember that Half-life 2 mods are not the only one that can die, the same goes to others, it depends on comunity, there were bf mods that had been forgotten. Note that FH comunity isn't too big, there were times when much more people were playing it, today only those who realy like realism and WW 2 stayed with FH.
And yet I stood by those BF1942 mods, despite their lack of popularity. Remember Empires? Remember Gpack? No one remembers gpack, wtf am I even asking that for? I'm just so sick of the mods that seem almost as if crafted in my ambition dropping dead.
Altough I don't remember mods wich names you've given (I never payed attention to many mods), do you realy stood because of them? That they still exist?
Sorry, I don't quite understand the question. Your english isn't horrible, but it's a little hard to understand.

I totally agree.
BDNeonSorry, I don't quite understand the question. Your english isn't horrible, but it's a little hard to understand.
Sorry, it's not always so bad;). Your problems with understanding me strted with my problems with understanding mening of your previous post:D. I understand the words but I'm not sure if I get the meaning of it right. Anyway I'll repeat my reply in different way: Well, I don't remember those mods (I never payed too much atantion to mods, FH is just different), but I can understand that it's not too plasent for mod leader if his mod has been forgotten. Altough you can not blame mods wich still have their community. Sorry, if I got you wrong. Thanks Diestl!

I cried when a Resident Evil mod for Half Life 2 fell through. I can understand why you're pissed off BDNeon. Sometimes game developers cant make decent enough games, so you look to modders, but when they dissapear without warning it is annoying. I even remember a Stargate mod for Far Cry that fell through because MGM didnt want them stealing the spotlight for their upcoming Stargate SG-1 game.
Oh well, there's that Resi mod for Half Life coming out soon. It's called Resident Evil: Cold Blood for anyone that's interested. It's a Co-Op mod in 1st person view following the story of all the Resi games, and throwing them into one game. All the locations, guns and enemies are in.
It's 80% complete. I cant wait.
I'm too cool to Post
