The rest of the world you can blame the idiots ( majority of human beings ) panicing and selling stocks , then everyone panics and stocks crash.

I think many people donĀ“t see the difference between investment banks and financial banks and start panicking.

Ts4 hits on it quite well.

No bail out is what is needed to help the economy, a bail out will only make it limp along a bit before collapsing worse. NO bail out, let the market recover by itself, and teach the banks a lesson, that they can't get away with handing out money to anyone and everyone and all their other idiotic, underhanded dealing.

No bailout, imo, is a damn good thing.

No bailout would be the thing Id first reach out for... But we are most likely wrong. These banks are mandated by law to have a certain amount of money on hand, if they cant make it, they collapse. I know it sounds bad to bail out a bank who made bad decisions but if a bank collapses, people dont get paid, and now they cant meet their obligations now they default... their banks cant recoup and they fail and so on and so on. Im not saying I like it and Im not saying it should happen, hell, I honestly cant comprehend it!!! Yesterday, the 777 points lost equaled to 1.2 trillion dollars in losses. Had it been done yesterday, maybe we wouldnt have lost that extra 500bn. If its gonna collapse hard anyway... the 700bn wont matter anyway. Lobo, I will unite with you on the highway and we will enjoy this anarky you speak of. We will scourge the lands for remaining petrol stores and go an beat the shit out of truckers. Perhaps we will meet up in a sphere made of iron, fighting for Tina Turner's affections...

That is sorta odd though. Its amazing to see how many people hate and soon hated Bush.
