Holy crap! I've seen alot of shots of a MG42 being fired, but man, no wonder that thing scared the shit out of Allied soldiers!

For me the interesting part is that German army still uses the updated MG3 version of MG42. Have those seen active combat use lately?

MG3 is also used in Finland, mostly on tanks and helicopters.

PS. Isn't that a MG3 on that video?

Yeah it is an MG3, the MG3 is being used in Afghanistan and I think Iraq.
