IM currently Over clocking my X850 pro AGp 256mb card. I know the max od both core and memory with out running into eorrs (using ATi tool) my core is about 580 and my memory is about 597 they are both defaulted at 499.50. how ould i overclock? should my memory be more than my core? or should they be equal or should core be more than memory? im oreety sure i should not run max overclocking.

Well the only way to know is clock one of them lower and the other one up and vice versa. Then see which of both test-cases provides the greatest boost in fps. After that you can decide on a stable clock for the 'lesser booster' and push the other one. Although most of the time the memory is running the hottest, so if you push that most it'll affect how far you can clock the gpu adversely, more so then vice versa. On the other hand most high clocked gpu's are texture-bandwidth starved so... Though I'm sure you can find this sort of info for your specific card on the net :) After rereading your post it seems you're only asking how both clocks should refer to eachother. Doesn't matter really, again, the only way to know is test hehe. Also; most tools are already with a build-in safety-margin, so manual clocking will always yield higher performance and still be stable. Good luck.

What he said. Tune both of them up until you start seeing artifacts on the screen or having instability with games.

Oh man 250W! I wonder how your machine even started up in the first place. You should seriously get at least a 450W one.

Indeed, but heat is probably the biggest problem and related anyway: higher clocks + more heat -> more leakage -> higher power draw -> need bigger psu -> shutdown And as heat rises more leakage occurs, more power draw.... nice circle huh :)
