I love it how germany wins against Costa Rica and then proclaim themselves to be the next world champions. Kinda like how they were oh so proud to have beaten USA and SK in the last championships. I hope we do not make it much farther.

And people wonder why I dislike football.

France vs Switzerland Should be a fun game, I'm seeing it at a friends house who's half-Swiss so lets all hope France outclasses Switzerland.

Bah most top-teams give a sad impression. The only one that lived up to the (my) expectations was Argentina. Czech Republic and Kroatia were also very nice. Also liked some of the African teams. Portugal was lucky, Brazil decent but handicapped by a disgusting Ronaldo (nice shot though), France sad, Italy not really impressive. I know they're still growing, but most don't impress :(. This is all my impression of course, I'm no real football man but a World Cup is special hehe. As to why Belgium ain't in...well we're still busy poking Peter Prendergast with poisoned sticks, blunt knifes and heated metal bars... (Belgium - Brazil 2002)

Yep, Brazil was somewhat disappointing, especially Ronaldo. Ronaldinho, as always, was a pleasure to watch. The man had three Croatians on him and still they couldn't stop him! Croatia did a great game and 1-1 would have been a fair result. Germany - Poland should be an interesting game, I just know that I would wear very neutral colors if I were to see that game on place.

Ronaldo was so poor, he played like he belonged on the bench of a pub team. :giggle: Germany vs Poland should be a good game, they got the right Stadium for it aswell.
