Found an interesting online book of pics taken by German soldats in Russia 1941-1943: http://www.user.dccnet.com/russianfront/. Many destroyed tanks, downed planes, German funerals and graves, Russian POWs and Russian combat casualties. A couple pics border on harsh, but most are fairly benign.

Nice find.. One of the pictures had a scoped MG34(in trench).. That was probably uncommon but can be nice for some trench mgs in FH2

Awesome find jumjum, although I didn't see anything really graphic like the warning said so.

Did they really do a 21gun salute for every cermonial burial? If your looking at 3.2million german casualties, then roughly what 1.8million were buried ceromonially (this is probably a way out guess), thats a lot of bullets. Would they have stopped the practice in the last few years of the war?

Must have developed an immunity to seeing dead bodies etc. Some people don't wish to see the war dead.

I think it's important to show the death in a war, people need to be confronted with the reality of war, and not what CNN makes you believe at the 6 O'clock bulletin.
