jumjumI'll assume that's rhetorical, but, sure, anyone can make remarks that are gratuitously insulting, unnecessary to the subject, and intetionally offensive to a sizeable segment of the audience. Unfortunately, "freedom of speech" is often confused (sometimes intentionally) with "freedom from comment", "freedom from dissent", "freedom from counter-speech", "freedom from consequence" or "freedom from disagreement". In actuality, if one chooses to speak, there is and can be no guarantee the speaker or the message will be well received, well regarded or unchallenged. This childish idea (that "freedom of speech" means automatically having one's ideas accepted instead of or in preference to others) sometimes remains in adults unexposed to critical thinking. Basically, it's a matter of intellectual honesty. A good corollary to the concept of "freedom of speech" is: "...and the wisdom to exercise it." Not that people can't be exceedinlgy foolish or selfish in what they choose to speak about or where or how they say it; that happens all the time. It's just that things are much more pleasant for everyone when a little thought and respect is given to site, circumstance and audience. That's all. We probably all have some cultural, political, social or religious ideas that are offensive to someone else. It seems to me a lot more pleasant to argue here about how long a KT might survive against an M-26, how to overclock, or whether Wile E. Coyote might have finally done in Roadrunner if he had had an Acme Panzerfaust. There are coiuntless sites for argument over something else.
You know, I think you are what is wrong with America. Sure, you are entitled to an opinion, but that wasn't my opinion it is a fact. If you wanted to turn this into a blind, jingoistic rant then you accomplished it. By the time you read this I hope that you find your fault and try to move on. Here is a picture in case you don't read this:
American, the only reason you got pwn3d by jumjum is because you dissagreed with his opinion on your out of place remark. This is neither the time nor place. and buddy, jumjum is whats right with america. maybe if people like you didnt complain and go into a lengthly "why im right and you are wrong" argument, this forum could be a (sniff...) better place.

1. I disagree with him not letting me say what I want. 2. "Pwn3d" should never be used in an argument. 3. Who are you to say when is the right time or place? 4. I didn't say he was wrong, I said it is wrong of him to try to suppress my post. He wrote a more "complain[ing]" and "length[y]" post than I did. I already said I was finished about this but evidently, some of us felt obligated to get off-topic (I was further clarifying what Lobo said and what Anlushac11 later gave specific information on)
Enough, this thread should not be about politics.
Nice pictures! Wish your bro good luck, one of my friend's sister just returned from Iraq, said it was hell out there, hope your brother has a better experience
HuffardoPoor fellow, I hope he'll make it. Nice pics though, suprisingly good quality. The sand might BTW become a nice touch to life, imagine all that cleaning. :)
Poor fellow? He, like all soldiers, should be proud to serve their country. Oh yeah, great pictures. Hope he caps a few terrorists while he's over there! What exactly does his unit do?
This is not a political discussion thread. It is the height of rudeness and poor taste to turn it into a political discussion thread.
If you want to argue politics there are plenty to choose from in The Pub and Melee forums. Go there and argue, dont drag it in here.

I regret if my comments was seen as political. That was not my intention.
.fuzioNMy own bro is going to Iraq in november, with the British Military Police. I don't have anything against the troops on the ground. my disagreement is with the politicians who started one of the most illegal wars in the history of military conflict.
don't be rediculous, there was ww2 you know
