As a confirmed master of the art of ninjutsu... I feel a grin breaking out. See this is what we always said... A pirate cannot avoid temptation. And now they get to experience this wake-up call... In all seriousness this is pretty sick on all levels.... But Im not sure I really care about it. I mean, obviously this is pretty wrong, or is it? What is your opinion? http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_3374702.html

Aww man, they must have taken down the page, OK I found it elsewhere... Russian yachts to offer "pirate hunting" cruises off Somali coast

by Aaron Hotfelder on Jun 29th 2009 at 9:30AM somali-piratesdotcom.jpgPlease let this be a joke.

According to several news sources, Russian yacht owners will begin offering "pirate hunting" vacations to those interested in wielding AK-47's and shooting at pirates off the coast of Somalia.

Tickets aboard the ocean liners, which will cruise at about five miles per hour in an attempt to attract pirates, will cost about US$5,000, with AK-47's and ammunition available for rent each day. The ships will be protected from pirates by private security guards made up of ex-special forces troops.

Not everyone is unfazed by this ridiculous, horrible idea. Russian yachtsman Vladimir Mironov says, "They are worse than the pirates. At least the pirates have the decency to take hostages; these people are just paying to commit murder."

I'm not sure whether to laugh or be sad... paying big money in order to hunt (kill/murder) pirates (and risk being shot at, injured and killed yourself and all that)... :lol:/:cort:

I know I have an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other with this one!!! Its kind of funny... but its sick too. My guess is that at least it isnt tax payer money being spent to rid this place, but it is people paying to murder others and you gotta have one evil soul to want to do that... Then the demon says... "Its not like they are going after them". In all honesty maybe this will work... still sick though.

I'm pretty sure this article is a joke that's been making its way around the internet in various forms:

Here's a different variation:

I still say that we should allow the PMCs to go in with a couple gun boats with 20mm cannon, and just blow the pirates out of the water....

Sounds like fun to me. I'd rather use my No 4 instead of an AK though. ;)
