Some guys in Poland have recreated Pzkpf II and they're on the way to recreate Polish tank 7TP.Here're some screens of Pzkpf 2. bokiem.jpgprzodem.jpgty.jpgw_ruchu.jpgresize_of_sta60072.jpg1_copy34.jpg

Main coordinator said he recreated Pzkpf 2 to have moving target for his (to be recreated) 7TP heh. kolor7tp.gifmod7tp.gif7tp_schemat.jpg

Dunno but the the panzer II looks a bit wierd, as it it was made with painted wood or something. :p

Keep us update about the 7TP project though. :)

Doh? Seems like they placed a (wooden?) structure ontop of a lower hull they had laying around. If you have that as a base to start with, it's really not very hard to restore it like that.

*makes a psychotic face* Don't make another thread like this unless they make it of the Ratte! Screw the Maus. Lookz atz mee imz zee mauz ind imz zooo uber NO! Make another lowly thread like this H2Hsnake and your first born dies got it?

But yeah that's pretty cool how much of the stuff is real or recreated from blue prints and how much of the parts are not historically accurate?

i asure You there's nothing from wood, they had good documentation and are professional engineers not some school kids lol.I saw this thing moving in TV(look at the pictures, the one with 2 guys sitting on the tank, yeah that's from moving sequence),actually funny thing was watching PzkpfII parking in the garage,it's quite a skill to drive a tank backwards into the garage lol, ofcourse with help of someone standing in front and yelling directions. For 7TP they use mostly original restored parts.people from all around Poland send them parts, mostly rusted.Someone asked creators why they just don't recreate small parts instead of using originals, they just said...it wouldn't be ORIGINAL :) they're tanks maniacs. There's a project to recreate all WWII polish vehicles.Whenever there's documentation they can do it.I am not sure how many original parts are in Panzer II,i'll read some and post more info.
