Fuzzy Bunny;3774706^^^ Exactly. I have played so many games that substituted AI "cheating" for really clever AI that I've grown pretty wary. And I've rarely if ever seen a game that honestly tried to create a clever, challenging AI _player_ (as in, with exactly the same information and advantages I do) where the AI wasn't comically bad.
Ace Combat actually has some pretty challenging enemies, but all AI planes can fly through the ground which is kinda hax :(
Also, you could take a look at Theatre of War.
I think that Theater of war will blow every other rts WWII games into pieces lol Terrain is so great, maps are so natural (almost hehe).I've even found a movie made in this game about 1939 campaign This game will be rather cheap in Poland (with addon included). The main site of this game could be used as a reference for FH2 :D in some cases.Check the gallery of units.
Safe-Keeper;3778282 The best tactics engine ever was, no doubt, that of X-Com UFO Defence. It's never, ever been beaten.
Hell yeah! I still play it sometimes, and its one of the first pc games I ever played :nodding:
my three cents on this topic:
X-Com game play is really addictive :bows: For those who wanna play them but don´t own em, there´s a real good OpenSource Remake for them, UFO AI.
I also played the Theatre of War Demo, but I found it quite hard. Maybe I sucked that time, I should try it again asap. Had really nice Graphics :) I recommend downloading the Demo and checking it out !
But still, I like the Gameplay of Combat Mission: Afrika Korps the most. Plan your Moves and then watch the next 60 seconds. Good Combination between RTS and Round-based. Get this Demo as well ! I play it with some Friends per Email nearly every day, great WW2 Game..
