Yeah, that's what I thought too, so probably that meant the size in a specific height. And Invictus, well, 10 tons are much, but if it was an iron meteorite..

IIRC meteors are very heavy and incredibly dense...(but then you can't expect much since there aren't any good Meteor Schools in space. Bada bump.)

Ten tonnes of iron would be something like 2m^3, so it's not all that big.
