So I was in Helsinki over the weekend and came across what looked like a pretty interesting movie. It was on Sunday afternoon on the one Russian channel that I got in my hotel -- sorry don't remember the channel name.

It was set in WWII and chronicled the experiences of a German officer who had been captured by Soviet forces. It looked pretty interesting, but since it was in Russian I really couldn't get much beyond the general story.

Anyone familiar with this movie and know the name?

If it was done by the russians it should be intresting to see what BS they pull, were my wife is from there is an old guy here that her parents are freinds with that was in the german army and was a pow,not shure if he was an officer but might have been, anyway he's alive becuse when they called his name (there were doing roll call and if you answered they shot you) he just kept quite.if I ever can get enough beer into him I hope to get him to talk about it,kinda funny when thay talk about how evil Hitler was for killing 6 million jews(latest figure but it goes up every year for some reason) but Stalin killed around 20 million of his own people in the purges, intresting.
