Ok..this is not a sales pitch...but they do seem to be more prone to shipping errors...let me explain: Last week my Hard drive for my computer just died. So, I went down to the neighbourhood Buy.com website and ordered a WD caviar 120gb for $60...What I got in the mail today was quite different... In the UPS box, I found a Raptor X (thats 10,000 rpm)..So I call Buy.com and tell them about the mistake..they told me to keep it.. The same thing happened to 2 friends of mine just a few weeks before..One ordered a GeForce 6200 and got a 7300 GS...The other friend ordered a 17in LCD monit and got the same model but in 19in...Thankfully, someones messing up the orders..hope he doesnt get in trouble~!
Too bad there are, most likely, 3 people somewhere going WTF! I ordered a raptor and got a shitty WD caviar instead or 19 inch screen and got a 17 etc...
But I guess it could hurt to try it out and see if you get a prize or not. If you get something of lesser value, that's why they have returns! :P
ya I guess the reverse scenario is also true...My friend just found out that they have a inventory software bug or something like that...Its causing them to mess up the orders...Not sure if its been fixed
Erm, that's nothing, I recently bought a box of corn flakes at Safeway and found a brand spanking new fully charged plasma rifle in it.
