I'm trying to get started properly modeling in 3DS. I still use AutoCAD and import my files into 3DS and set them up the way the EA tutorial for 3DS dictates. However, I can't find any way to change the UV map file from 256x256 to a higher level. Also, disregarding that issue, when I put the file in a test level in the BF2 Editor I end up with something looking like the attached file as the skin, as well as a couple lines of errors in the console stating:

Ignored Warning[RendDX9] : Texture not found: c:/documents and settings/---/desktop/gaming/battlefield 1942/battleship/textures/concrete.cast-in-place.flat.polished.grey Ignored Warning[RendDX9] : Texture not found: c:/documents and settings/---/desktop/gaming/battlefield 1942/battleship/textures/bump/concrete.cast-in-place.flat.broom.grey.bump

Another problem I have is I have no idea what's up with the scaling ingame. Compared to the soldier model when I tested the map, the stairs were something like 5x as tall as they should, which really doesn't make any sense to me as there is no unit conversion from inches (what I modeled in) which seems appropriate.

Last thing now, I promise: What am I supposed to do about adding a material to the object. In the tutorial it stated that it would cover more on that (and something about a stair material that had more friction, you could walk up a steeper slope on, etc) which would be covered in part 7 of the tutorial... and there is no part 7 about that.

Any help would REALLY be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
