Komrad_BI *NEVER* am sarcastic!

If were to fly a plane in war, I'd wish it'd be as weakly armored as possible.

Because I don't need pansy pussy armor!

Why are you always in the Panther as German, instead of a Pz3?

FlyGuy45What about your other teacher who thought only one bomb was dropped on Japan, "then I suppose half of Japan blew up since the two cities are located so far from each other?", she shut her trap lol"

another teacher story:

history class sophmore year, one of the questions on a test was "What was the invasion of Normandy in 1944 called?" i answered: Operation Overlord. the teacher said that i was wrong and that the correct answer was "D-Day". we then got in an argument that ended in me looking it up on google. he still didnt admit that i had blasted his argument out of the water and i hated him ever since.

BraunTell your friend that the zero was so lightly armor plated that it was considered lightweight and that often it took very few shots to blow the plane up or completely decimate it and its pilot.

I tried. I tried. It's like the 'La-7 vs. P-51' argument, or the 'Fw190 vs. Spit IX' argument we always have. I'm all for the La-7. :bows: Early war Zeros, like the A6M2 (used in Pearl Harbor), had no armour whatsoever. Later models like the A6M5 and A6M7 occasionally were fitted with slight pilot protection. Not that it mattered if you were going to slam into a carrier with a 250kg bomb strapped underneath. If the Hellcats didn't get you first (Hellcats FTW!!). Most Japanese aircraft were poorly protected, which is how the G4M Betty got the nickname 'flying lighter' - it burst into flames from only a few hits.

I had a WW2 Plane book and he opened it up and hes like yeah that was a good plane. I'm like what plane, hes like the Cornsair. You mean the F4U Corsair..

Dude, he's a 6th grader. That's what, 12 years old? 11?

He'll be worse when he's a teenager (at least to his parents.) I don't imagine you're any better :-)
