Everytime i install a video game it can not run. I can fully install it and access everything except for direct game access. Such as watching the previews or accessing the options on the intro screen. I dont know what else to do, is there somthing i can check up on like seeing if my video card is operating?

Make sure you have the latest and correct drivers for your gfx card installed. You also need a version of DirectX. I'd guess it has something to do with DirectX. If you have DirectX installed, search for the installation folder and run the directX.exe, there are different tests for 2d/3d graphics, audio and so on.

Just read that you reinstalled your system. Maybe you forgot to install all necessary drivers from your mobo-installation-disk? Like AGP-drivers, drove me nuts once when I forgot to install them. Oh yes, and don't forget to use the correct drivers when you install your soundcard directly after installing windows. With older windowsversions you can mess up the whole installation if you don't do that.

Good luck
