1.Why helicopters don´t carry bombs?Helos are slower and can stop on the air, that should make bombing VERY VERY easy,so why they don´t use it? 2.Why the new planes(jets of Vietnam and newer) have only a single seat? The older planes had a place for a gunner, but in this new generation nobody needs it? 3.Why there is no jet engine hidroplanes? 4.Why the balloons are far smaller nowadays than the ones from the zeppelin era? 5.The number of some older guns are the date of creation?Like Colt 1911,BAR 1918,MP40,MP18,MG42,MG34....

1. Why carry bombs when you can have Missiles/Rockets to do the job? 2. Not all "new" jets are singe seat, some are two seaters with the navigator sitting in the back and since Jets fly at such great speeds an olden type gunner would be near useless.

the MI-24 "Hind" carried bombs. but it is the only helo in history to do so. numbers stand for the year they were introduced. e.g. colt 1911 introduced in 1911, BAR 1918 was introduced in 1918 (and yes it did see limited service in WWI), mp40 introduced in 1940, etc. zeppelins were huge cuz they carried passengers and they needed to carry enough fuel to cross oceans. however, big airships are comming back. the zeppelin company has a new line of semi-rigid airships and there is another company that has a giant cargo airship in the works.

Like said before, the hind did carry bombs. However, it is better for an helicopter, wich is relatively slow, not to pass over a target. Rockets and missiles are much better. Furthermore, traditional bombs are less and less rarely used in tactical role.

2.Why the new planes(jets of Vietnam and newer) have only a single seat? The older planes had a place for a gunner, but in this new generation nobody needs it?

Two seated jetfighters exists, but most are training versions. Real two seated jetfighters (like the F14) are rare, because another pilot would be a waste of place since jets are too fast and are fighting from a too long distance for a rear gunner to be usefull. Advanced technologies also allows the pilot to operate all weapon and avionic systems by himself.

Why there is no jet engine hidroplanes?

Aerodynamics, I guess. Most modern jets are made to break the sound barrier, or at least go very fast, but this is easier said than done. You need a very aerodynamic plane to do it, and big floaters do not help for that. The floaters would probably be torn apart if the plane would go too fast. So it is basically useless to put jet engines on a "hydroplane", since they can reach their max speed with an traditional prop engine.

4.Why the balloons are far smaller nowadays than the ones from the zeppelin era?

They were used to transport passenger, today they are used to show publicity during sport events :p

5.The number of some older guns are the date of creation?Like Colt 1911,BAR 1918,MP40,MP18,MG42,MG34....

Yes, it is common military designation to put the year of production on the name of the product. Same goes with some tanks, military helmets, grenades, ect.

Sgt.kar98 2.Why the new planes(jets of Vietnam and newer) have only a single seat? The older planes had a place for a gunner, but in this new generation nobody needs it?

Modern two seat fighter planes have two pilots or pilot/navigator or pilot/weapon officer to spread the workload on two persons. That way the single pilot dont have to do all the work alone.

3.Why there is no jet engine hidroplanes?

Actually, the Russian Beriev company is experimenting with some interesting jet-powered amphibians, the Be-40 and Be-200:

'[130pz.Kading']the MI-24 "Hind" carried bombs. but it is the only helo in history to do so.

The CH-47 was used to drop Napalm bombs during the Vietnam War on some occasions.

A single CH-47 could drop two and one-half tons of napalm on an enemy installation. Naturally, this method of dropping napalm was only used on specific targets where tactical air could not be effectively used.

I think the Japanese also name their weapons: type - date of production, but they start on an other date. Per example type 99 Arisaka rifle was produced from 1939, type 96 Mg was produced from 1936, and so on (at least i think so)
