Stalingrad is one of the best war movies I'd ever seen, next to Das Boot and Der Untergang ofcourse. Makes me wonder why I havent got any hollywood war movies on my list...

Der Untergang is not really a war movie. It portrays the last days of the 3. Reich and especially acts as a psychogramm of Adolf Hitler.

It's not a traditional war movie in that it centers around a unit fighting against an enemy. There is no "us vs them" mentality, except for a few parts near the end where they are trying to get out of the city. It's just displays the "downfall" ;) of a countries leadership, and the backdrop is the battle of berlin.

I own it with English subtitles (do not watch the dubbed version). I bought mine at Border's, but you can probably find it at Tower Records, Circuit City, etc. It is more expensive than normal movies though.
