let me get you all up to speed. about a month ago i got hit by a car on my bike (how he got on the bike i will never know:lol: ) and i couldnt walk for about a week. whell, there is a problem with my knee: it isnt healing properly. there is a "divot fracture" in my upper shin that needs to be reset and some torn cartilage that needs to be removed. the surgery is on munday at 11am.

PS i get a perscription for 40 vikadin so it will hurt like hell.

Torn cartilage?

Been there before. Playing rugby and my leg got pulled into the most insane shape ever. It took ages to heal, and it still has not fully healed after three or so years. Now and again whenever I play sports like football it'll kick off again and begin to hurt.

I was relieved I didnt have to have an operation on it. I want to continue playing sports, I used to be a really good 100m runner in my high school, but my knee caused me to leave that scene and become a couch potato because I just cant keep up with the other runners.

It's a real kick in the nuts getting an injury, especially when you're an avid sports fan.

Sorry to hear about all of this, I can sort of sympathise with you here.

Sorry about your pain.

I have not had surgery but I have torn up both knees and ankles and torn the ligaments in my right ankle. Used to play sports in High School.

The Doctor dosnt want to operate til I get bad enough that I have problems walking, So now my knees sound like gravel in a bucket when I move.

The Vicoden will be good, I have a perscription for my back and knee for when it gets real bad. Mmmm nice warm fuzzy feeling.

Best of luck and heal fast, or have them wheel you to in front of the computer. Just cause your knee will be out of action doesnt mean your arms cant work those keys and mouse buttons.
