Ts4EVER;4955339Yes, I "researched" a bit and found the movie. But I still think that the segment is kreepy, especially without context. Anyway, the whole thing made me look back at my (rather recent) childhood and I remembered two cartoons that left a rather large impact on me because they were so messed up. The first one was a foreign production involving a family of rabbits (or "hares"? I don't know that much english zoological terminology). I forgot the name, but it's a quite famous production I think. It had a terribly bloody fight at the end and was really sinister at times. The second was an obscure German production called "Felidae", where a cat detective solves a crime among cats. Sounds disneyesque? Don't be fooled, the cats are not anthropomorphic, the crimes are ritual murders and it is probably the only non documentary movie featuring sex between cats as a plot point. They recently aired this at 1200 again, probably assuming it was for kids, being a cartoon. Another generation traumatised :D

edit: they actually have the full film on Youtube: YouTube - Felidae (1994, English) - Part 1 It's an english dub, pretty good if you ask me. If you can spare the time, watch that movie, it's great (for grown ups ;))

The first one is "Watership down" (Unten am Fluss), an interesting book. Felidae is even better in some respects due to the creepy parts about genetical experiments.

I've read some of his books and like the webcomics (Unspeakable Vault of Doom) :)
