Hey folks. Some of you may remember me. I used to post on here a lot some time back. But disappeared for a good while. Point is, I'm back now. I just went out today and bought BF2 for the sole purpose of FH2. I'm just as excited as the next fellow is. Anyways, It's time for a new video card. I was wondering if someone could steer me in a car that runs very damn well with the new BF2 game. I'm currently running a Radeon 9200. It's not supposed to even work with BF2 but after some screwing around I got it, sort of. Any help here is really appreciated and just let me know whats best. I appreciate it guys. Cason "uncle sam"
Nvidia cards run the game very well, and the game can take advantage of Nvidia's 'Ultra-Shadow' compression.
I'd guess for Nvidia go 6800 and up ATI x800pro/xl and up
HEY NOW its sam... want a new sig? have a whole new style, you might like it, you might not ;). Anyways, if depends on how much money your willing to spend on it.
Welcome back Sam !
7800GT is pretty damn sweet for BF2 :D
Well, basically it looks like im gonna spend a solid $300 to beef my computer up for BF(FH)2. So devs, if you're listening, you got a TRUE fan here. I'm currently rolling with 1 gig or ram and I'm thinking I may boost it up to 2 gigs. Is it worth the trouble to just make it 1.5 gigs? Or should I just go ahead and vamp it up to 2 gigs? As far as a video card goes. Anywhere from $100-200 will be fine I guess. I have an insane car payment and other expenses, but right now I have all the christmas money rolling around. And what better to spend it on then stuff for FH? I'm looking at the GeForce 6800. It seems like the best all around for the money. And Mazz, I def need a new sig dude. When I reformatted I lost photoshop and I cant find its CD. So im totally screwed. Hook me up man.
Depending on what you need $300 might not get you that far, but best of luck :D. Anyways, PM what the basis you want and I can handle the rest.
To be honest you'd probably be better off saving the money untill a release date for FH2 is announced, it'll be a few months yet, so if you save, by the time it comes out you'll be able to get some really sweet hardware for the same price.

That's what I was thinking. I'm getting my BF1942 disc back from my friend tomorrow so Ill be back into that. I arleady downloaded Fh.7. I'm going to assume everyone still plays right?
the number of people playing it has declined a little bit, but yes, most of the active forumers are still playing it! :)
