hint* there's also canadian veteran story :D
Well I guess it's a first for you to include another nation in one of your posts so hoooooray for you!!
Which translates to: "Dear veterans of the first independant airbornebrigade. Your soldier's road was long and difficult. You have proven to Poland and the world that there are values for Polish soldiers that cannot be destroyed or forgotten. Your patriotism, readiness to selfsacrifice and soldier's honor are forever written on the glorious pages of the book of the Polish armed forces."
(This is about the Dutch government recognizing the Polish actions in Operation Market Garden. After the second world war the British and Americans were officially honored by the Dutch government for their actions in Liberation our Nation, but the Polish were forgotten. A few years ago this changed, and the Polish soldiers who participated in Market Garden were officially honored and awarded a medal. The British still do not acknowledge the efforts of the Polish soldiers in Operation Market Garden.)
tnx for translating :D btw coca-cola usually i'am not including other nations in my posts because i feel representative of my nation's history here and responsible for bringing it up to whoever wants this knowledge.(somewhere deep in my mind i feel like You wanted to say:"you never talk about Canada history!!!" hehe that's why You're here,You do it,my job is Poland's WWII history.I support every nation that was pushed aside by mighty shamefull stars like US/GB/USSR (Big COD three lol, i think that scenario of COD was made during free time at Yalta conference in Teheran 1943).Canucks and Aussies were brothers in arms of polish soldiers on the battlefield they shared almost the same fate(the difference is that tnx to Big three Poles lost a war) so i support these nations in their fight for rememberance.
