*ahem* Was that an mg or merely some sort of repeating cannon I saw on the bed of the railcar in that realistic Old West mod? Why go to all that trouble and put in anchronisms? meh.

The French seem to have a "thing" for the American West.... Might be interesting.

On a similar note, I see that at least three Western-themed RPG/shooters are in the works for release either this year or early next.

Hoping to cash in on aging "boomers" like myself who have fond memories of the genre?

Looks pretty neat. I feel bad because its the project of just one guy, and he seems to have put a lot of work into it. But now that is coming to a finish, BF42 is on its last legs. :(

i think that if he has chosen bf42 engine, it is perhaps because it is easy to mod on it (and the graphic is very low in details). It will be a little mod like instertate etc ... (he has begun his mod in march 2005 ...)

For bf2 i don't know if he's going to do it, perhaps ... but i think he will recruit uner bf2 :naughty:

He put a lot of detail into that mod, look at all the animate objects (grandfather clock, lanterns, windmills, A DRIVEABLE TRAIN!) Also, note how much detail he did manage to put into objects in the BF42 engine.

nice work for a single guy, but those screens remind me of Codename Eagle graphics..
