I used to imagine a man running alongside our car during long and boring tours. He would jump over obstacles at the side of the road like some kind of video game character. Anyone else who did stuff like that (or even weirder)?

I used to pretend that there was a gun turret on the roof of the family van. I was the gunner. Red and yellow cars were enemies, blue, green, white and gray cars were friendly.

I always looked at the back of cars and decided what sort of mood they were in based off the tail lights and bumper and whatnot. (they make faces)

When it was 18:00pm, i went to the roof whit some machineguns, then i started shooting at birds, they were airplanes.

Holy crap every idea there is amazing! I love the mind of a kid, its the greatest thing ever. The logic they can put together will blow your mind. But you must be careful because the first time they hear about something they retain it photographically. I try to include them in some simple way with the work Ive been doing on the house. I asked them to remove some masking that I put up to paint. I didnt like the job I had done so I asked them to tear the paper down, to them it was as fun as bubble wrap. Anyways I was already in a foul mood and wasnt very talkative. He had asked me if this was spackle. I didnt even look and said "yeah". Now they argue with me every time I actually am spackling something because they thought by tearing down the paper, they were "unspackling" When I was a kid I imagined myself with a hook in my hand, I was using it to hang and slide along the electric wires I could see out of the window. I used to have to shift my body weight so I could jump up over the actual telephone pole and catch the wire with the hook and continue on till the next pole.

My god, I used to do that as well. Only SUVs and pick up trucks were enemy, and sedans and minivans were friendly (guess what cars my family had :P)

I also used to imagine what if I had a light saber and could cut through various objects.

There was a place, far from here, i guess 2km from my house, it was something like a Farm.

I had some buddies there.. we teached them about playing war and shit :D

When i came back to that place, 7 Years ago, i brought all my weapons, everyone, my Winchester, M4, the Uzi i used to shoot birds (It was a MG42 hehe) and my MP40, uknown weapon irl.

We started to kill eachother there, man.. we hide in the brush whit a gun and ambushed the other kids.. fun as hell.

2am in the middle of the darkness and you could hear "Bang Bang Die Diee man i shoot u DIEE".. that was great fun.

When it was reaaally late, me and my friend started to build weapons using Tubes, Wood, we built a Sniper rifle, whit a working Scope and all!!

We started to build some kind of Flak 88, wich worked like a siege gun (?) but we had 13 years and we stopped that, its still there, incompleted.

I really wanna finnish these things, the Mortar, the 88, the gun.... these were GOLD times man.. i miss them.

Now i have Gmod for building these weapons :nodding:

That reminds me, to this day, when I'm out somewhere, I have this lingering bit of my mind that says "that would be a good sniper spot. that would be a good machinegun spot. that would be a good place to emplace some pillboxes." etc....

Hahah same thing happend to mee!!!

If my country was in war against the Chileans, i would place a heavy machinegun in that window.. and i started to discuss why that window is a good place for a HMG :P

We also had plans for future invasions, 500 spiders attacking our house, we had to defend it whit Shotguns and shit

Back in these days, i dindt played BF1942 tht much, so my friend said "Yes, we you completed the campaign it gives you bonus maps, for 3 levels you completed you get a bonus map, Warsaw, Paris (you could see the Eiffel tower and even use the Paris Cannon (Wich was a WW1 cannon)), first i tought it was real, but when i finally bought BF1942 and played the campaign 20 times whitout any bonus map unlocked, i was fooled

Damn i love this thread <3

I Would use the dead bugs on the windshield wiper as a laser sight to blow up all on coming cars. I Also would close one eye and go up and down when we got to the lines in the road and I would jump them with my eyes.
