All I have to say is, that's the exact same card that I have and you guys pay too much for it. I just did a conversion with yesterday's Canadian doller compared to the Euro and we pay 249.2986 or .30. That's a conversion without the sale price as well! You'd better get your copy of Company of Heroes otherwise you're really getting screwed.

yup dollar dropped so low that it's better to get it from USA, :) lol but other than that, they're best GCards right now, performance is almost the same as GTX which is much more expensive :]

Wow, an 8800 GT in the US is 250 USD. You guys are getting ripped off, the one you linked is close to 550 USD. We get it for less than half, just buy it from newegg.com and pay the shipping for it.

the one I showed You is Limited Edition :) from XFX , called Alpha Dog. It's Overclocked already from 600Mhz to 670 :D one You showed me is probably around 600 or less. And frequency is what does the difference. here Newegg.com - XFX PVT88PYDD4 GeForce 8800GT XXX 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail still cheaper. but the point of this thread is to tell YOU - BUY NVIDIA GT CARDS!!!! not GTS or GTX :D lol, GT's is the best choice and pretty cheap.

It doesn't matter if it's the Alpha dog, which I'm now kicking myself a bit for, if you look at all the 8800GTs, they have the same cooler. I believe the only difference for the Alpha dog has a lot of copper but isn't worth it IMO. If you want a very good card for very little, get a base model 8800GT, check into what memory and coolers the higher ones have, then get one as similar as you can and OC it. I went conservative this time as OCing my 6800GS went wrong for me and I still have some artifacts when playing BF2 or any of its' mods, ie. a few lines on the middle and right of my screen.

They seem to be running 250-ish on sites like Tiger Direct and New Egg.

The card is getting excellent reviews both online and in technology "press" magazines. May be my next upgrade.
