What i noticed in fh is that there were alot of fun and cool aircrafts but dogfights were not fun because they didn't last long enough. Please make aircrafts (especially bombers) or any aircrafts with multiple gunner positions,more resistant, :) so that the gunners can enjoy some action too. Making dogfights last at least 2 minutes instead of 5 seconds. thanks:) :naughty:

Dogfights are decided in seconds. Planes weren't made to be peppered.

actually hes rights to a degree, in FH1 hitting a plane anywhere reduced the hitpoints. hopefully FH2 will have more accurate damage modeling, with critical areas, and areas that can be "swiss cheesed" but not really hurt the planes air-worthyness. it should have alot to do with, "where you hit the plane", especially on bombers. bombers could take a pretty good beating IRL, if you didnt hit something critical. also i would like to see the gunner MGs do more damage.

Yeah, the gunner MG's do squat right now (except the bettys top gun). It's kind of silly peppering a tailing zeros engine with the b17s top gun and seeing it flying virtually unharmed.

A well... I actually somewhat hate dogfights becusae it is a waste of time... sometimes you can fly without result for 10-20 min :D It really depends on the plane and the pilot.

Zeros and Me262 can't take any damage (*becuase they are instantly killed*), and no plane can resist imba 4x30mm cannons...

What I miss is armor on some planes, for example IL2, a plane which you can shot down with just regular MG and irl it was a a flying tank, think it's somewhat only weak was underneath at some cooler.

Planes are overall very weak and bombers should really have more armor, but I also say it is too easy to flak planes *cough*ostwind*cough*

*And why can't planes take damage on wings and tail etc?

*What I also have come to believe is that irl many planes were harder to handle and became less manouverable at high speeds at dives etc. Which is NOT the case in FH! :P

I don't think the bombers need more armour, they just need their mgs tweaked so that fighters have to use real tactics to take one down (coming in outside of the cone of fire of the mg positions).

I'd also like it if aircraft weren't able to turn within an 2 meter circle. The engine doesn't allow things like blacking out (as far as I know), and so the things that you physically wouldn't be able to do, you shouldn't be able to do. I know it's not IL2, and I don't want that. I would like more realistic flying within the limits of the engine, though.

have a bad ping and you will have a good dodgefight.

each time i take a plane i need to chase the ennemy 5 minutes and empty nearly all my amunition because my ping is not enough correct to destroyed him. :p :mad: so i hate bailer.

I think planes should last a bit longer - Maybe not 5 minutes of continuous peppering - but 5 minutes of dog fighting i.e. about 30 secs or 20 secs of continuous damage. After all, all that nice graphics of debris flying off, barrel rolls, sharp turns and dives go to waste cuz no player will do stunts if he knows one mistake and he's toast. I think if planes are resistant enuff, more planes would go down in flame than blow up in mid air (then only real killers would go after a downed plane to finish it off)...

Been there, brother... Many times when I fly (but I don' t fly much, just for fun with my ex clan) I used to run out of ammo chasing just one plane and I got so frustrated that I kept following him trying to crash on him... :(
