Wha?

You mean turrets? Like guns that fire automatically?

If so, then no. There were no automatic turrets in WWII :p

I would rather have a team that acts responsively (defending flags) instead of automatic turrets of doom :D

He does bring up an interesting point, though. I don't know about having AI/bots play an actual combat role in FH2, but it'd be neat to have some "auxiliary helpers" -- like the robot planes in Cretan Village / Zitadelle, but actually doing something useful. Robot supply trucks / ammo drops, that sort of thing.

It would be a nice idea to have a flying robot B-29 (I mean those big cargo planes) actually doing all the work of dropping down ammo supplies requested by the commander.

I think I suggested this among some of my friends, but on Maps like Midway, bots could be cool. I would like to see Bots take control of all the ships, then have the actual players fly planes and ground-pound. It would simulate a command system, where Private John Johnson isn't the Commanding Officer on the USS Enterprise.

I like the idea of AA bots for airfields like in Warbirds 3.

No bots in multiplayer, please! The most annoying thing in RO is having 20 bots suddently spawn around you and start shooting in random directions  No thanks.

What so like a turret that looks like a guy in foxhole? That actually sounds pretty awsome, would certinally look cool.

I dunno -- combat robots could be interesting as long as they're not too influential to the outcome of the game. Your idea could be kinda cool.

I mean, in an extended manner, landmines are "robot soldiers" -- they're kinda dumb and don't move, but they're pretty much fire and forget.

However, I was thinking more along the lines of "support functions." The supply drops were just one goofy idea (I thought up this idea of supply trucks driving onto the map when you call for them, dumping ammo & guns, and leaving unless blown up.)
