Pietje;3488698If people do not want to repair the ship then let them feel the consequences of doing so.
The people who feel the pain aren't the smacktards fucking around in the planes but the people working with each other on the same ship and other ships as a team. Don't try and say that the people manning the ship should because that's why you have 28 players per team so that people can do the smaller jobs, sometimes so small they don't even do them

The smacktards in the small boats and planes trying to get onto an enemy frigate, battle ship, or air craft carrier just don't spawn at the same place or are usually the ones closest to the escape vessels and go on to be an idiot for another day.

Servers should be much more professional about the whole teamplay issue in FH2 and should kick people 3 times then ban afterwards if they don't start working as a team.

Take Rheinenbung as an example, think about how many positions and ships there are on all the ships perside. In all they exceed the number of players on the Wolf server. Now on any given time there are at least 25% of the players just screwing around and the repair ship is never anywhere near the bismark or prinz eugene (partly because it spawns on the other top half of the map) who need it the most after they've encountered the hood. Now tell me that it isn't realistic for the guns onboard the ship to lose their crews in the guns that aren't completely protected or have been penetrated by a shell. That's realism and teamwork and it can work with bots

Pietje;3488698Sadly enough, i might aswell talk to a mirror. That would be much more usefull then this conversation that leads to nowhere.
Then please leave this dicussion, I'm tired of hearing your bigot like rebutals. I aggree that they may not be in their right element outside the base or on a sea map off the large ships but you did aggree for them to be in the uncaps and it won't hurt to expermiment.
Why try something when you know beforehand it will make people lazy? How many more arguements do you need before you are convinced it will not work?

One only one that is factual and has more than just a grain of truth mixed in with bullshit sprinkled daily with piss that "blossoms" into a dull flower that spews bigotry and nonsense.*cough**cough*
This is a teamgame. Not a lazy man's game where the AI does all the dirty work for you. If you are unwillingly to act like a team and do the dirty work then perhaps you are better of playing COD or something like that.

I think we're a little bit more like each other than I'd like to think or vice versa. Although teamplayers aren't going to be formed in FH2 with or without bots.

It'll come down more to the type of people you include and exclude and the squad system and how it's implemented and encouraged. If you want people to use the trucks instead of only one man transports then you're going to have to make the amount of bullets people have is less and that vehicles break down more often(which gives me an idea!). And if people don't do that meahh then they might as well go play COD or sumtin meauh.

Agreed.

There is one simple way to fix the repair ship problem. Make it spawn next to the Bismark and Prinz Eugene. The big ships could auto repair slowly without the use of bots to simulate the crew trying to keep the ship working. No bots needed for that.

Then please leave this dicussion, I'm tired of hearing your bigot like rebutals. I aggree that they may not be in their right element outside the base or on a sea map off the large ships but you did aggree for them to be in the uncaps and it won't hurt to expermiment.

I'm really sorry but i can't do that, im afraid. Ofcourse, you are always free to leave this discussion. However, i agreed with adding AI robot units or whatever Fuzzy called them. Not bots like in the SP. And even then only in the main base and nowhere else.

Fascinating though how you accuse me of "bigot like rebutals" while you seem to do it aswell. That is why i said this thread is pointless. There is nothing that would convince you that it wouldnt work. Even if it would fail entirely you would still be convinced it would work.

I'm sure we wont have to worry about this. And vehicles breaking down, no, just no.

Now that is not true, so I'll just agree to disagree

RussianComrade;3488245Well then someone becomes that noone. If noone's willing to work as part of a team and wants to fight for themselves only I have no idea what the hell they're doing playing FH.

So: A bot that is assigned to drive the coffins are there guarrenteed. Compared to a human player that *might* be there. If I need help, and I need it now, then who would I rather want getting me help?

If you dont want to rely on your teammates, fine, but then you shouldnt complain about the consequences. Lazyness should be punished, not rewarded by letting bots do everything.

Promote teambehaviour, dont promote "bots must do everything for me because im too lazy to do anything by myself" behaviour.

Oh, and i have never heard of "driving coffins". Is that some sort of gothic car?

Having bots will just take the team work out of the game. Either way, killing a bot, should cost you a ticket. Also, the bot will not have the mind, and soul to come help those in need, and it will follow it's path.
