I was and still am amazed by the sheer skill of botpathing and bot behavioural activities in this current patch. Hell the AI is even better than some retail games, not least BF1942. There however a few other niggles I'd like to see squeezed out: Forcing bots out of vehicles. Nothing annoys me more than artillery blasting a base and then getting my vehicle moved into a ditch or river by some bot or worse repairing a tank and have some bot steal it. Occasionally rapidly hitting the position or enter key gets them out but even if you succeed you can only do it once... after that if that bot steals your vehicle again there's not chance of kicking him out. Radio commands would be useless as that would get everyone in a radius out of their vehicles but what if you made it so that hitting your "enter" key on a vehicle or the position key instantly vacates the bot from their position. Sending bots to attack. It would be nice if the old radio command for attacking and defending was reinforced so that the bots would properly fulfill it. Also I've noticed that when that command has been fulfilled the bots stand around and dont' do a hell of a lot. This seems to be better with FH than other mods but its still noticeable. Any chance you can reset the AI after the command has been fulfilled so that they have the initiative they had at the beginning of the game? Art Spam. I was amazed at how the bots would spot for artillery the moment you entered an Artstrike vehicle. The only problem is the occasional spamming as everyone on a team would spot a single target... often twice so you can't quite get a proper bearing in the art view [as every time a spotter repsots you lose the view]. This system already rocks and is infinitely better than previously but if you addressed this it would be perfect. These are minor points but it would be nice to see them fixed. Seriously GJ to the coders who did the AI... I'd buy you a beer if we weren't online. That's all folks...

i agree, bots are great and nice, but holy fuck, ive had germans with k98's seeminly fog hack me when shooting with a rifle, they dont get outta vehicles, and theyve got this hole, one shot isntant kill thing going on, i was scoping with a sniper and this bot in a hanomag turns and takes me out in one shot through the fog, its this kinda instant hit they have on you and small other things that make it kinda annoying sometimes

Worse when flying when a clip of MG34 can total you in a second.

I just turn down difficulty... or kick the offending bot ;)

lmao, but still you know what i mean? with a garand my crosshairs close fairly slowly, when a enemy sees me, he looks and shoot, bam and im dead, yet his crosshairs wouldnt of even closed yet!

I was flying in a spitfire in coop Breakthrough, near tree-height and the German Royal Tiger tank took me out with one shot from its cannon. :eek: :eek: :eek: I'm not sure if it was aiming at me specifically or the tank behind me, but that was creepy. :eek: Oh, and yes, I'd love it if you made it so that when you want to get into a vehicle or specific position, the bot gets out. Particularly in maps like Bombing the Reich, where the AI actually spawns in the planes, so you're left without a plane for like 5-10 minutes because you can't get in (the AI won't get out.) By the way, anyone getting drops in FPS on Bombing the Reich? It's wierd, sometimes it's incredibly slow for me, sometimes it's fine. :confused:
