Suprisingly, the last few months i've heard little about any plans to include any airborne maps into FH2. I speak for my grandfather(101st Paratrooper) and myself when i say that the airborne has and had changed the face of the war as well as turn the tide. Therefore i would like to post some suggestions to make this a reality 1) possible operations include the German assault on Ft. Eban Emael in Belgium, Junkers 52's W/ Gotha 242's (see photo) Gotha%20Go-242A%20transport%20glider%20lifts%20off,%20%20winter%201943-44.jpg These behemouths could carry 30 heavily armed Falschirmers in one load or half that plus on Panzer III tank 2) For the British of U.S. do Operation Mkt Garden W/ British Horsa's or Hamilcars and for the us have the Waco's and the US Hamilcars 3)US ops can include op. Huskey, Op. Varsity, or Op. Neptune. 4) Allied Airborne Tanks include M22 Locust and the MK VIII Treyarch 5) Allied para plane is the C-47, can carry a total of 18, not sure yet about J52 That's it so far, just ask for more info or photos and i probably can provide them Jeronimo

i have no questions, but this is a great idea i think, first off because we have ...what? 1 airborne map? and i think the paratrooping is kind of fun. also the paratroopers add more realism to the game

Instead of double posting, you click edit to, you guessed it, edit your post.

But yeah I would love to see some tetrarchs and stuff but I don't know how the gliders would work if they can in game. I don't know if it would be possible for planes to deploy gilders? But seeing that suicide plane in FH Iwo gives me some hope even though it's a very different engine.

i think it would be pretty easy though, to tow the glider have that wire at the back of a bomber, the glider pilot then can drop the cable, for the glider dynamics just have it slow down the longer it's in flight

We'll be waiting quite some time for American paratroops. The Go 242 didn't enter service until after the invasion of Crete, and the biggest vehicle that could be loaded was a Kubelwagen. As for the tanks the Locust and Tetrarch were only used operationally by the Brits.

Since the devs are only working on the Afrika Campaign at the moment, I'd wish there could be other similar airborne maps in the Afrika Campaign (apart from the Invasion of Crete).

The problem I have with gliders is that everyone in it is at the mercy of the pilot. That's fine if the player knows how to land them, but if not you are at the mercy of some noob at best, a smacktard at worst.

Those big transporter planes in FH1 are often one of the only ways u can gather a small team and assault a flag together on a public server. Like the mountain top on supercharge or Kasserine Pass... even if half of the squad forgets the chutes, your pilot won't open the door and, finally, someone drops a satchel inside the plane..
