Could the planes please be moved off the runway so we could have safer landings? Also could the runways be cleared of buldings so if u over shot your landing u wont hit a bulding like on El Alamein?Finally could vechile left on a airfield be destroyed after 10 seconds of no use? And finally Hanger to house planes:deal:

Good idea, while in FH some of the planes seem to be moved out of the way i have had plenty of times when i have been comming in for a landing to rearm/repair and everything looks clear so i take it down and as i touch down i a team mate will be pulling out of the hanger, we are both going to slow to pull up and CRASH we both die. In vanilla it was much worse, so many times when i would fly low along the arifield to rearm a plane would spawn right in front of me and i would die.

i would like to see that to. fh did a great job doingi t at some maps, but not every map. the make new postions on wake, but if i try to realarm now, i fly low want to pull up at the end but ther is a small building over ther, the chance i hit it is to big i think, for the less experianse pilots. the gemoterie of the airfield is a bit strange i think.. it doesnt look realistic most of the time. but i wont say it so bad. cous the devs have made some good one to.

To help me in landing safely I would sometimes jump out onced I'd slow down, and sustain some small damage or no damage at all when getting out. Imagine that in FH2? Impossible you die when jumping out of a DPV that is slightly moving.

lol.. we need a bigger airfiled where no planes spawn like on wake the triangle is good except that the planes shouldn't all spawn on the triangle airstrip(or whatever shape)

sry for 2x post what i meant was out of the 3 sided airfield on part should be clear for landings or the strip should be spaced out wider

While on the topic of airfields, here's another idea. On some maps, the actual airstrip itself could be an object, capable of being damaged and repaired. I know that it's not possible to actually have a crater appear right where a bomb dropped, but instead, maybe with enough heavy bomb hits to a section of an airstrip, it will become badly pitted like the strip on Crete. It can never be totally destroyed though, and engineers can eventually repair them.

hmmm... thats a good idea, and if it is an object, wouldnt craters be possible?DarthWoo, i was just in philly, you see live 8, i couldnt.

Does anyone have pictures of how some WWII airfields actually looked ? Might be interesting to have a look at those. And I like the idea of having a destroyable runway, it wouldn't be hard really, you'd just have to lay down several pieces of 'airstrip' (every one of them being able to be destroyed) and when they get destroyed, a crater shows up, with nice little ridges to annoy everyone winkx.gif Problem would be: what stops them from using the ground next to it sad%20(frown).gif
