Im suggesting getting some more allied jet fighters. Namely the P-80 Shooting would work well for alpen as it was already arriving Italy by wars end and would been likely to see combat in 46 (late 45?). I think I would rather see the Glocster Meteor first though, as it actualy saw more service (albeit against flying bombs mostyl). So this could go better on alpen to. It would fit better on say a bombing the reich that had V-1 bomb luanchers. (player guided missle anyone?). Some links: Metor- http://www.meteorflight.com/ http://www.warbirdalley.com/meteor.htm Shootin Star- http://home.iae.nl/users/wbergmns/info/p80.htm Note: If you going to bitch about how you want the panzer III before this.. just stop whinining. The Devs spend some time on lower use things like the rocket willy. other aircraf, etc. and this is reasonable suggestion in that area.

Sounds like balancing to me...besides, the only fictional (in terms that it saw no combat use in WWII) plane on this map is the Go229 and that one is from another mod, if I remember it correctly...

Not to mention that the allies have enough hardware already.

No more useless vehicles! Panzer 3, Chafee, Valentine. Until we get those, NO MORE "What-If" vehicles!

Wow, poorly modeled and skinned...

The P-80 entered service in 1946, and it sucked, terribly. Four .50 cals vs. Four 30mm? Lame, thats 12.7mm vs 30.

Since Alpenfestug (sp) takes place in 1945, the P80 would not work. However, one could simply change the year.

Actually four of the pre-production model YP-80 were sent to Europe in 1945, but they never saw combat.

FactionReconNo need to flame.

Its ok I already pre-flamed ppl if they flamed me, as I predicted: "Note: If you going to bitch about how you want the panzer III before this.. just stop whinining. The Devs spend some time on lower use things like the rocket willy. other aircraf, etc. and this is reasonable suggestion in that area." Any I remeber that the P-80 was being tested in italy by the end of the war, and the Meteor saw active service shooting down V-1s. The meteror is hardly a 'x-weapon', any more then the jet bomber on alpen (yes I know was used for recon missions..).
