Only used in one true battle though, so it may not be worth the effort. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dora_%28artillery%29 800MM shell. Could be a secondary(more powerful, longer reload time)artillary.

On a side note, how about a super secret hidden bomber that was used in the bombing of Hiroshima, that has a nuke, which demolishs everything :) (just had to add that.....)

Edit: The cannon was used in the battle of barbossa, forgot to mention.

Somehow I doubt it, plus it has been brought up before I believe. But there are two things I want to bring up related to this.

We need man controlled artillery in FH2, not sure if there as been anything said about this.

And it would be nice to see a very early Barbarossa map. Push map with Germans attacking.

The Battle of Barbarossa? You mean Operation Barbarrosa? From what I've heard in a different thread, ages ago (in which the possible inclusion of the DORA anywhere in FH was completly rejected, may I add) was that the DORA was only used in one battle, a Siege of some place in Ukraine, possibly? My memory isn't great. But it's so f***ing big it would take 3 servers full of players just to man the thing to fire in the first place, so what's the point of adding it in FH? It can't be used for anything. And a nuke? Oh, that's an original suggestion, and definetly a plausible one. Yes, let's let the entire map be destroyed by an insanely powerful weapon... for what? If you want a nuke, make your own mod - I don't want your suggestions desecrating the holy ground that is FH. And Nighthawk, an early Barbarossa map would be extremely unbalanced. In the first 2 weeks of fighting the USSR lost 1 million service men, and 90% of their aircraft over the first night (although I'm getting this from an unreliable source - my level 1 history book on Stalin). Either way, the USSR was completly unprepared for the well equipped Germans... it'd be a slaughter, like that old USSR vs Japan in Manchuria map.

Im wondering if he is talking about the 60cm Morser Karl used at the Siege of Sevastapol, And the 80cm railway gun "Dora" also used at Sevastapol?

Too big and the map would be over before the gun could be reloaded for a second shot.

Instead of making the railguns controlable vehicles, they could instead be commander controled artillary that's not located on the map , but can only be used once a round for realisms sake since i'm guessing it took quite a great deal of time to reload one of these. The railgun artillary would differ from regular artillary barrages in that there's only one explosion, but it would cover a greater radius than your average artillary explosion.
