If you rig up a new model to the old skeleton shouldn't you be able to use the old animations? If that's the case, rigging is simple (I can even do it with decent success).

yeah, youd think that. But BF doesnt like people messing with its guts, so its a real pain in the ass to do. I seem to remember the halo mod had a hell of a time getting theyr player models ingame. Also, the Dice models are pretty good, theyr just rather neakid. which is what im trying to fix by giveing them player equipment.
This isnt halflife. Hopefully bf2 will be much more flexible.
Lol be nice to the guy witht he amazing amount of stuff the FH guys have already done you can forgive him for thinking they could do all that too
hey srry, yea its alot of work... and i appreciate you guys hard work on the mod... but i never meant to get anyone mad, once again srry... my appologies mcgibs you got a point, they do look naked, and im gonna help you out by giving you info on the equipment on the soldiers....heres a site http://www.toysunlimited.nl/elite_force_ww2.htm they have alot of soldier models of ww2 toys, maybe you can use the site to look at the equipment and see how they are placed and what to add to them and one more suggestion, the ammo belts dont stick out much, maybe make a new belt with mags and a canteen and such, and grenades across the jacket...and even on vehicles with sandbags and equipment on them too...this will surely make forgotten hope betta... anyways nice job with adding the equipment, hopefully the site above will give ya ideas and wish ya luck on them!
