I love the M35 right now, most accurate rifle in the game. And as Symz said, the AT rifles are very effective indeed....if you know where to shoot them. Best place is from above, out of a house or something. Well except for the Boys of course, which (realistically) always sucks.

Assuming tanks are fully 3D modeled, you MIGHT get lucky and shoot through the hatch slot. :)

I'll say this, though. If a weapon is going to be totally ineffective, let's not bother including it. I'd rather see the 73 anti tank grenade than the Boys if the Boys isn't even going to damage the enemy vehicle.

PietjeI completly agree. Infact add bunkers and pillboxes and the like to your list. This is something i wanted to see for a long time.
No doubt about it, I'd love to the ability to take out an MG nest in it's entirity with a well placed shot from an AT Rifle, and Bunkers, etc. should be capable of being eliminated... What would be sick is the ability to destroy MG Turrents on the top of tanks and armored vehicles.

Depends on how you intend to use it, if your plan on getting realitivly close to the tank, say 100m or so, then a 73mm anti-tank grenade pressuming your talking about the rifle grenade will be more effective, but if I wanted to be 200m or 300m from my target and focus on lighter vehicles such as Scout Cars or if implimented, bunkers, MG nest, etc. Then a Boyes rifles will be much more fitting for the job.
I say take pictures with of them with a person possing with them (for scale). :nauhty: I doubt the devs would mind if you sent them (detailed) pictures of those weapons. :p

I would if I could, but because of security purposes, etc. It likely won't happen. But for alittle better prespective, it is 7.347 feet long with a barrel length of 30.315 inches. As for weight, with a 10 shot magazine loaded, your looking at a weight of approximently 116.6 pounds, let's see you try and run and gun and bunny hope with that... -Hoot.

snotvodIt's so hard to get a real idea of the scale of something if there's no person to compare it to, i allways thought a lahti AT rifle was about the size of a Boys!

i thought it was only a tiny bit bigger the boys rifle. but its a BEAST!!. who the hell thought of making a rifle that big. the magazine is just crazy. cant wait to use it agaist the t34

Well, if I have my way, AT rifles will have the same behaviour as machineguns (exept single shot :p) that is, you can fire from the hip (innacuratly) but you cannot use the iron sights unless you deploy the weapon first.

Hopefully we can code AT rifle specific hitzones, such as view slits and stuff for more accurate damage. Likely any bullet bigger then 8mm will generate a small area of splash damage (from debris kicked up), so killing infantry should be a little easier. I would also like to see them used as Anti Material rifles, able to knock out machineguns, mortars, and other targets that a sapper would normally target with satchels.

WWIIOnline actually injures your player if you fire an ATR not deployed.
