If this is made, i think normal spawn points should be decreased, like that you cant spawn to every capped flag.

Another thing to add if possible, and artificial spawn limit that reset after an ammount of time. So the APC might allow 20 spawns before it couldn't act as a spawn point for a while. That way, it would be useful for flanking. But not an excuse to forver dogde flag spawns. Would also give the defending team that held against the APC a chance to destroy it should the attackers fail.

I like the idea, but it does not seem to have been widely used in FH thus far. As far as I know, it has been limited to landing craft. (and Bettys) I don't know why (if a vet can give a reason I would appreciate it), however I imagine the reasoning behind their limited use will remain in FH2. I like the idea. It makes trucks valuable, yet vulnerable targets. That is always an exciting combination.

That would be such a great idea if implemented as long as the apc could also get resupplied with spawn slots at a main; but it's a cool idea nonetheless.

We have developed this for use in big battles and it is a superb feature... We use spawnableAPCs in our 32vs32 battles and everyone loves it + it makes a realistic sense and add a great strategical effect to the use of them... Anyone wants to have a look at the codes just contact us. The way we coded them was so that soldiers spawn inside the APC in a random seat (driver, MG position or passenger 3-6) but the greatest thing is that if all 6 slots are filled, the spawnpoint disappears from the mini-map, so you cant really "mass-spawn" soldiers.. well you can, but they have to leave the APC in order for new soldiers to spawn... also its cool since it requires team-work to keep the APC alive...

I recommend this feature, and if FH aren't making these as standard vehicles in their Mod, you can definitely expect it from us later on instead...

So I'm presuming it won't be exactly possible to have a limit/amount of spawns per APC that it would have to resupply at a main? Or would that be possible because that would just make FH2 the whipshit!:lol:

I don't know people, the thing i would really hate is that the halftruck would sneak by the front line and in many cases this means gg or the other team really has a hard time recovering. Look at omaha charli sector one buffalo behind enemy lines is a nigtmare for the germans. Just make it so its a server option or something.

And that's why you shouldn't let it trough.I think APCs as mobile spawns are good idea atleast in desert campaign.

I agree with Lt. m@rv... you can't say "dont use that because its a nightmare for that team or this team..." I mean... it's war, you want pizza deliveries?...

Stop the Buffalo if you play germans, or else the "nightmare" is your fault IMO....

And servers (a.k.a. "admins" who don't know anything) can't choose these things, its up to the mod developers and level-designers to make the decision if to use a certain feature on their own map...
