I think the difference in between when you you get hit in the front and when you get hit in the side should be greatly inlarged. I think if youget hit from the front it should do really little dmg compaired to a hit from the side. + Is it possible to make it so that when you get a shot to your side t a 90 degree angle that you tank actually rock back and forth? after all the tank doesn't just stand there like a mountain when a huge shell hits it

Theoretically the vehicles realistic armor values are modelled and the relatively realistic gun penetration will depend on wether the gun can penetrate.

is it posible to mod the effects of large shells not exactly penetrating but knocking the crew around, so if your in a tiger and got hit by a 122mm round in the front, it may not penetrate, but your view goes fuzzy and moves abit, to simulate the massive shock put on the crew

(lets not get into ISU-152 rounds now!)

I think that would be cool and I would like to see infantry A/T rounds like Schreck and faust and PIAT and Zook do like 1/2 damage to the tank and kill the crew.

Interesting idea, but not suitable for game-play I think...

yea if they turned vehical theft off, id like to see the atr kill the crew rather than the tank (which is what happened in most cases)

i'd prefer keep theft on, remove engineer and include bergepanzer! then increase spawntime, empty-time and damage between disabled and destroyed, so that a disabled tank may be recovered later. all countries used salvage-tanks afaik.

ARV's sound cool, but don't really fit. Abandoned/damaged vehicles were not recovered in the heat of battle. Whoever won the battle, and controlled the battlefield, could recover vehicles, while the losers were SOL. In FH/BF42, the round would be over before the ARV's appeared (the winner of the round would in effect "control" the battlefield) Not too many (if any) recovered tanks were used in the same battle as they were recovered from.
