I don't think a deployable morter would be a good idea. I do like the morter battery suggestion though. Four or five morters firing at once would make them a bit more useful.

Deployable mortars are already in-game.

yeah but they need to be redeployable by going up to them and pressing G to pick them back up and move it somewhere else same with the MGs

as has been said an infinate amount of times before, there is a collection bug with MGs and mortars. Make a lan game and they will actually pick back up.

I think it would be great to have rolling artillery. They have it in BF1918 and it is really nice to be able to, albeit slowly, reposition your artillery pieces and catch the enemy by surprise. I also think that on a few maps you should place some of the really big German railway artillery.

I think artillery units should be in batteries, 3-4 units.
