FH is in desperat need of some new stationary artillery pieces.. i hate seeing the same nebelwerfer being used on all maps..or just generally rocket-artillery (espesialy on omaha) or russia/britain using american artillery.

so how about giving each country there own howitzer like the americans have? some suggestions to get it started:

Germany: Lefhl18, backbone of the german artillery. Lefhl18 horsedrawn lefhl18 or sIG-33 sIG33 :1 sIG33 :2

Russia: 122mm M-30 M-30 :1 M-30 :2 or 152mm D-1 D-1

Britain/Canada: 25 pounder 25pounder :1 25pounder :2

as you can see im missing some countrys.. feal free to add more guns you feal is needded in FH.

Would be nice, you're right. But lets not forget Japan. They had a number of generally smaller-caliber guns. Most were 37mm-75mm. I dont know where to find anything on them on the web, though. Japan is very hard to find WW2 info on.

Germany doesn't have any howitzers, so one those would be good even though nebelwerfers can be used in the same way. Ohioan is right, Japanese artillery is needed to keep those Shermans honest. Iirc, in the (very) little I've read Japan was said to have a lot of at/artillery guns dug into their positions on the islands they fought on. Different size mortars for all armies would be cool as well.

Indeed. More artillery is badly needed.

I also have to use this thread to bring up the pixel shooting problem. I think a good solution to it would be to not have the camera move to track the barrel or launcher of your artillery piece, but rather to have it point forward at all times. This'd make pixel shooting a lot harder and make players more dependant on artillery spotters.

That was a good idea i had not thought of before, but even then.....Artillery was always used that way, ie. some targets had been identified and all the necessary adjustments to hit the predestined targeet was practiced. Then, if the enemy arrived at said target, it was quick to point the big gun in that direction, and you know the rest.

Please fix the pixel-aiming exploit crap before you add more static arty to the maps. Other then that i agree more models are needed.

Artillary is something FH has been lacking, and it does become dull seeing the same artillary piece over and over again. Japan espically needs some more, I'd also like to see something else other than a howitzer for the Americans too.

Lacking artillery?, Zis3 for russians, 2 pounder and 6 pounder for brits, the poland one, flak 88, pak 40, 105 in Omaha and nebelwerfer for germans, the howitzer for americans, the french and japanese one, our custom coastal guns. We have more artillery than any other mod.

I wasn't complaining, I just felt that FH could use some more artillery, instead of just one or two unique pieces of artillary for every nation. I know FH has more artillery then any other mod, but some more AT and artillery guns wouldn't hurt.
