Its a quick question, will there be artillery like BF2 for the commander, or will it be more like bf1942, and if so, can you have a bearing and elevation on the gun used, and a way to calculate to the target. Plus try to to like BG42 how they set up their howitzers, 2-3 controlled by one guy ( I know it sounds complicated, but thats the way real life artillery works) P.S I'm also looking for BF2 clan

Both, FH2 has commander artillery, with diferent kind of barriages:

mortars artillery smoke flares

The mapper can choose the composition of those types, and reload time.

And we have player controlled artillery (mortars, LeFH18 and 25 pounder), with a spotting system in coordination with frontline observers, similar to the BF42/FH1 one, but more ww2ish

The FH2 system is way more easy, the gunner gets the azimuth and elevation data from the observer spot and must align both dials to zero, very WW2ish. We will explain the system with screenshots soon

It all revolves around the little tank-thing symbol on the ring around the crosshair. When you get it pointed toward the center of the crosshairs, you should be lined up (or close to it) horizonally. Then you just guess how much height you need and adjust from there. A good operator should be able to zero in in about 3 shots. 2 if their 1st guess shot is close. Anyways, I am liking the potential of this new arty system. But, the spot gives you everything, so wouldn't this be idiot-proof requiring not as much skill to line up the shot? Of course, a skilled guy will spread his shots around there, but still, it just sounds too simple.
