Comrade PedrovskaGood AT Rifle comparison table. Already mentioned several times but I think it should be in every AT rifle thread for complementing ;) - http://www.wio.ru/galgrnd/ww2atr.htm

That doesn't list accuracy though. We'v established that modern ones can be very accurate ( even modified mgs), but the question remains how good were these old at rifles. The question being weather sniping people with the AT rifle is a realistic activity in fh (aside from closer ranges or gettin lucky).

terminal-strikeThats a dang good shot. I mean whats going to be the drawback for these old AT rifles in game then? I guess it could be a kit, or maybe the movement speed is real low, or it takes a long time to get the accuracy high?

I think they are fine as it is, i am willing to bet they were quite accurate back then also. And without the scope its just as good as a slow firing kar98.

Well thats what Im worried about. I would perefer not to change it either, as I have a good time sniping with it- but if these things weren't that accurate then its kinda unrealistic.

USMA2010umm, then you need read up. at least for my M99 (you could call it the closest thing to an at rifle today) i can take out the spent shell, put in a new one, chamber it and fire the round in about 8 seconds if im speed loading. M99 (my baby) b99b.jpg

That is your weapon? I don't mean to be rude but where are you in the Pic, could we please have some proof of life? I am not accusing you of being lair, but please confirm this. This is a rare weapon to own, especially for an Illinois citizen.

...he might be taking the picture ;)

when it comes to reloading - where the real bug is, as we've already stated that it does take forever to reload, is the sound and animation. the fact that the reload sound stops after only a second or two makes it seem as though the gun died. somehow we must give input to the player that he is still reloading the weapon!

now. as you, USMA already have an "AT"-rifle, you can get the honor of recording one

We were trying to figure how accurate modern 'at' rifles are so as to compare to old ones i think.
