Say your a tanker, and you want to look behind yourself. If your in a generally fast tank, you can pull your mouse 6 inches left and take a peek at whats behind you, but if your in a Tiger, your dragging that damn mouse over and over and over. Not only can you damage your mouse, but you can also knock things over. I many times kocked things off of my desk when panicing about something and trying to work that turret. And if one is in a plane, lacking a joystick. Say you want to pull off that barrelroll, well, your dragging your mouse up untill you do that flip and than generally left and right to get on a target. This can not only be confusing but it can cause you to stall and die if you have to pull your mouse up and than place it down to pull down again, especially if your lacking space on your desk. So, I hereby declare that: 4 keyboard buttons are added to the game for tanks and planes. Kind of like WASD is standart now for walking, we add four more for manouverability. Say we use UHJK (not suggesting use those buttons) U can be to move turret gun/nose up, H can be turret/tilt plane left, J can be turret turret gun/nose down, and K can be turret/tilt plane right. This can be an excellent replacement for those lacking a joystick who wish to do continuous turns in the plane, or for us tankers, a nice way to flip that turret into the corners.

If your looking for maneuverability in planes just use the arrow keys. Arrow left (roll left), Arrow right (roll right), Arrow up (nose down), Arrow down (nose up). Although using arrow keys for tank turret would be nice. Ive got skid marks from my mouse on my mousepad from that damn tiger.

the using of buttons to move a turret is not only easier, but more realistic. you dont get that turret dancing all over the place, easily engaging targets as they move. using buttons would need skill. good idea.

I forgot about the arrows on the plane.. Too lazy to edit my post now. Was making this suggestion mainly for the tanks in my perspective.

Dude just turn the whole damn tank. It's faster and better. The Tiger is best used when you use it with an assault gun mentality. To me the Tiger is just a bad ass assault gun with damn good armor and a better view.

Not if you want to strike on the move. Say Im facing 2 tanks, I'll engage 1 on the move while I face the other and approach him. Than when I knock out the engaged tank I can turn the tank itself and start shooting the second one, kill him, repair, redo.

I use the arrow keys for planes. It would be cool though to be able to set throttle in planes. Lets say use the # keys to set the throttle, so you could continually go slow. It is much easier than tapping your throttle key. If I am ignorant of a throttle feature please let me know.

I Think making you have top use arrow keys to move the turret would be awsome/realistic.
