I am not going to name maps etc just in case I am wrong, but basically I don’t like the idea that a lot of the time you are playing an even amount of players on each team. Surly a lot of the time some battles had a small amount of defenders and a large attacking force (and vice versa).
I think there should be a way for servers on certain maps instead of “auto balance” “evening” teams; it should on specific maps weight teams e.g. 3:1 etc. This does not mean the more people on your team the easier it will be, there are way of balancing out the game play, i.e. give them better weapons, defences, abundance of materials etc.
For example alough i love omaha charlie sector, and think this map is perfect, but in reality the attackers Allies out numbered the Germans, should be a way to reflect this? This idea would also prove useful if you start implementing “special forces.” I like and don’t like this idea of “Special Forces” basically because you are going to have a task force battling against a regular unit of a 50:50 weighting, its just unrealistic.
Surly I have a point, however this idea may ruin the game play hence i should only be implemented on specific maps. What do you think? P.s English *IS* my first language

It's a server side setting and not map specific.
True, but if this could be done, then you can start developing maps specifically with this in mind.

The BF engine doesnt handle that very well, most try to adjust the spawn times to reflect numbers.
While I agree that sometimes the teams should be unbalanced the fact is people will not play a map they lose all the time on even if it is historically correct.

Team ratios are set for the server, and stay the same map to map. Spawn times are the same for both teams. So yeah. We know your concern but those be da facts.
Cant there be some patch for the server so that it says map = bla bla, spawn time allied 10 axis 5 ration 3:1 etc, map = bla bla bla spawn time.... etc (and so foth). Or is this simply something that cant be done/implemented.

i think we are all forgetting that this is a game, not some WW2 reinactment. This game is to have fun and not to get slaughtered every single map. it would be boring to know the outcome before the map has even started.
