Hawk_345;3246115Yes i think it should be canada vs japanese because it is historically acurate, the canadians retreated to the island and the japanese took controle of the mainland and canada had to defend the island, we lsot of coruse because of the overwhelming ods and if i recall 1500 candains became POws, but they held the terrain for along time and did not want to surender but the british side did so canada had to.

Well since 1500 Australian POWS were taken with the fall of Singapore..... I reckon, due to it being such a British imperial icon, places like Hong Kong + Singapore just deserve to have a union jack flying on the flag poles. But that said, Canadians should definately be integrated into the British army in the map. I'm forseeing something that looks a bit like Arnhem, tall buildings and close street-to-street combat. Good luck Lobo ;)

General_Henry;3247381 btw, i just want to know if there are trams in the 1940s? they are cool...

the Peak tram was built in the late 1800's so it definitely was around for ww2, if the devs could implement that in some way(hell Id love to see a map set just around Victoria peak, that would be awesome :smokin:

i really hope u are not saying that we candains have to be part of the british and the ausrtalians get thee own armys again, if not, them i fine with that 1 map of canada being part of britain,or maybe we could ahve 2 diferent Hqs, or uncapable bases or something, 1 canadain 1 british, but im not sure if possible, but if there are others no way man, canada is its own army, especially in Ww2, its not ww1 where canada was a little bit part of britain.

Hong Kong is a big place, it would be neat of the DEVS made several maps based around different key points around the islands

This Peak tram deserves to be a control point by itself, hands down!

Pfft...Canada's a country?:D Nah mate, I was thinking more along the lines of Cretan village where you have British, Aussies + NewZealander soldiers/flags but it being considered a British map. I think it was discussed before that in BF2 that you can even have the different voice commands for each kit so there can be multiple armies in one map - a dev nightmare :p

Jetro;3245835Which is why we're talking about battles that happened.

what i meant, was, the guy who said canada vs japanese, wait, never mind, my mistake, I need to go back to reading about the battle of hong kong. But, if you were to impliment Canada, just simply make a separate special canada group, whith a model mix of asian, and canadia soldiers.

Ok then, then i agree, especially the part of a "devs nightmare."
