What do you think about a turn mode campaign? When you attack a region there is a map situed in that region. You start with a basic class and then you pay for others, upgrades o more vehicles for the next map. It should be fantastic (I hope a map that goes from morocco to Japan, all conquerable! (Maybe America too, with the Reich))!!! What do you think?

Thanks

(Long life to the Axis (not Japaneese,I dislike them!))

Hey even if this is about the wrong game, a campaign mode would be interesting.

Take the Desert Campaign for example, In the campaign mode, the commander on each team could have a map in the commanders mode divided into regions, during the current map they could pick the one they wanted to attack next. Then when the battle ended, the winning team gets some point and the map changes to what the winning commander selected.

The team with higher wins could maybe have a bonus in vehicle or troop spawn times or something that would represent the extra resources for the winning side. The campaign would end when one side either controlled all regions or a set number of team points were attained at which point the campaign restarts.

Ok, so that's probably not even possible with the engine. Still it's cool to think about.

Due to engine limitations of not beeing able to select a country to attack, this idea is impossible, although interesting.

Also, I recomend you to find the caps lock button and press it again, you may have accidentaly pressed it in the middle of writing your last post.. :P

This is exactly what the FH tournaments do.

They add a strategic level, where territories are selected for attack and defence based upon previous battle results.

The battles themselves are fought within rounds of FH over a set time.

It would be an intresting SP and server mode for sure. So if you win you just don't go to A) A random map (weird) B) The next battle in chronical order even be it on the otherside of the planet (better, atleast there is an order in it).

I guess that a combination of "nearby" battles roughly in the same era would work best. Assuming that it's not possible to give a selection of maps (for the commander to vote on) based on which teams wins an automatic "If seem X wins map 2 loads, if Y wins then map 3".

And if that would 't work we would have to go with the good old option B and server tournaments I suppose.

Good, Admiral Doenitz (donutz is a swearword!!). I talked with the supreme mod director, El Lobo, and he said that is impossible with BF2 engine. An abicious project should be to make a game into the game, using another engine and connect so the new work with the already done maps! (I hope there isn't just desert, ok is beautiful, but I want to annhilate Russian and Yankees!) Remember, Italy is powerful!

Long life to Deutsche Afrika Korps und Feldmarschall Erwin Johannes Eugen Rommel, Der Wuestenfuchs!!
