Bayonetes undecided topic? Hardly, there's little reason NOT to have them. It just occured to me that you could do bayonettes like XWWII or you could do them better!: XWWII system, you have two rifles, linked, where one is the standard rifle + right click zoom/aim and the other rifle is less accurate with right click stab. Now this system has the advantage of having the bayonette and rifle on the same weapon, a good choice when getting up close right before an assault, switch to this version of the rifle. But it does have the disadvantage or not being able to stab until you reload or rebolt the weapon. Now that's a pretty bad disadvantage for that system, because the point of the bayonet is to attack after your rifle is depleted temporarily. Another system just replaces the knife (or in addition to) with the bayonet only with a long range stab. So that the bayonet is seperate and always accessable regardless of your reload state. It's just a stick with a blade on it no bullets. No more waiting till you bolt another round to stab someone, one of my greatest annoyances with most bayonette systems.

I has been said a billion times by all the Devs. FH is a proud mod, they do not 'steal' or 'liberate' animations or content from the expansions. Bayonets are RtR content, therefore the Devs will not take them like other mods do. Personally, I don't see much use for them with the whole soldiers having pistols, knives and smgs.
