Face it, we're all not perfect. We are going to catch a rifle bullet or a burst from auto weapons. So, in BF2, what happens? You lay there looking up for a while hoping a medic comes. So, last I've heard, FH2 medics won't have anything to revive people with, and I'm all fine and dandy with that. It's just that annoying "look straight up while hanging on the edge of conciousness" nonsense. So, why not, when we die, we just die. You see your ragdoll-self in 3rd person view as it finds its way toward the ground like in BF2 and other mods (like PR if you are headshotted). You will then be able to watch other players in death-cam while you wait to spawn. Anybody with me?

Your 'critically wounded - last chance to get revived by a medic' time is a serversetting (sv.ManDownTime). As this has no place in FH2 our testservers have this time set to 0 seconds, and we would recommend all other servers to do the same.

So it's already pretty much as you describ it, as long as that setting is set to 0 seconds.

Wait...so there's still something that functions as a WWII style Revive?

I think the (sv.ManDownTime) should be atleast 60 secs, with lots of screaming and crying and thrashing about. No revive though, just a long wait. The dieing soldier ingame should moan too.

Okay, I know this is beating a dead horse, but to make sure I understand -

In BF2, you can be mortally wounded so that you will linger a bit before dying within a certain number of seconds - but if a BF2 medic reaches and treats/revives you before you die, the medic can at least return enough health to you that you will not die (unless wounded again), correct?

But in FH2, a mortal wound is 100% fatal, correct? The FH2 medic cannot save/revive a "mortally wounded" man, even though the wounded man is still technically alive and conscious, correct?

Sorry, I'm just trying to see if I've got it.

Your concept is correct, it's actually exactly as in PR. In BF2, once you're revived you automatically get 100% health (which is the arcadey part). In PR a medic must revive, then heal as you are still badly "bleeding." And by the current info we have, yes, you have no chance if you go down in FH2. The only thing a medic can do is heal wounds when you are alive (and also carrying more bandages, correct?). Good to see the Critically Wounded thing is able to be deleted. All we need is servers to turn it to 0 (so you admins better remember ;)).
